Our primary goal when it comes to fees is to make our rate structure simple and our service valuable. Fees break down to a reasonable $99 per half hour, with some discounts available based on the complexity of your needs. All consulting fees are subject to 5% GST.
First-Time Bookings

- Note that first-time bookings cost a little more because this includes the onboarding process and getting connected with tools such as screen sharing.
Regular Hourly Rates

- $195 CAD for entrepreneur/business support, residential/family support, and remote/international clients (those outside of Vancouver, Canada)
- $175 CAD for people with just one Mac, one iPhone, and/or one iPad
- $165 CAD for seniors (65 and over) with just one Mac, one iPhone, and/or one iPad
Minimums

Per MonthMinimum charges for return/ongoing client relationships:
- On-site visit (we come to you) in or around Vancouver, Canada: 1-hour minimum
- Remote support: 30-minute (half-hour) minimum
- Phone and iMessage support: 15-minute (quarter-hour) minimum
- “Quick questions” via phone or iMessage after a paid consult with us: No charge; included as followup support
Terms and Conditions
- If we made a mistake, we will fix it on our dollar, not yours.
- You will only be charged if we achieve the agreed-upon result, or make measurable progress towards that result.
- We ask for payment by Visa, Mastercard, or Amex at the end of each session, using our industry-leading secure web system vonigo.com integrated with authorize.net merchant services.
- We accept cheque, PayPal, email interac only with prior management approval, and only from return/ongoing clients. If this is your first time working with us, we will only accept credit card payment.
- If you cancel more than 24 hours from your scheduled time and you paid in advance, you are entitled to a full refund. Please email solutions@macinhome.com.
- If you cancel within 24 hours from your scheduled time, you’ll be charged a half hour cancellation fee at your regular hourly rate.
- If we’re coming to you on-site in the Greater Vancouver, Canada area: An additional $20 one-way travel charge applies for 20-40km outside of Vancouver center, and a $40 one-way travel charge applies for 40+ km outside of Vancouver center.
