How to stop phone calls ringing on your Mac and iPad

Since upgrading to the latest and greatest operating systems from Apple, one new feature has been pretty annoying for many of our clients:

Allowing phonecalls on other devices.

While this can be a great way to ensure you don’t miss out on a call while engrossed in something on your Mac or iPad, more often than not it can also be a nuisance, causing every device around you to go off at once when a call comes in.

If you’re not keen on this feature, here’s how you can easily take control of it on your iPhone and switch it off:

1) Navigate to your iPhone’s Settings page, and push on the Phone button.

2) Inside the Phone settings, push on the Calls On Other Devices button.

3) On that screen, use the switch toggles to either disable the feature all together, or for a specific device.

Nothing simpler! You can even save your friends from this pain by clicking the social media button on the left. Save the world! One friend at a time.

And of course if you need further assistance with this little maneuver, or anything else, don’t hesitate to let us know!
